Islamic Terminology for Lizardoids
August 6, 2007
I think I’m ready to to add the Islamic Terminology for Lizardoids section. Comments, criticisms, corrections and death threats are welcome and encouraged.

Update; I took the liberty of deleting the previous entry for Dhimmi and and moved the old definition of Dhimmitude into the Islamic Terminology section.
It took much trial and error to figure out the correct code for a new entry…..
<a name=”word” title=”word”></a>
<a href=”#word” title=”Direct link to this word”><strong>word</strong></a> - definition
If you’re doing a two word entry (eg. Allahu Ackbar) it must be entered as….
<a name=”Allahu Ackbar” title=”Allahu Ackbar”></a>
<a href=”#Allahu%20Ackbar” title=”Direct”><strong>Allahu Ackbar</strong></a> - “God is the greatest”
…other wise WordPress will redirect your link into cyberspace.

Killgore, please see the new thread I put up called “New Entry Template — UPDATE (all editors please note!)”. It explains how to add a new entry and what to do if the entry has more than one word. (Answer: use underscores, not “%20″ spaces, as was previously explained.)
Just use the template and the instructions in that post, and everything will be hunky-dory and easy for you in the future.

KT, I also fleshed out a few definitions, removed “for Lizardoids” from the title of the section (because the dictionary is viewed by the general public, not just by LGFers) and added a little explanatory note. Now it’s lookin’ great.
Good job!

Thanks for clearing up the code, I tried to get some help last week but just ended up doing trial and error until I found something that worked. If you’d like prefer more detailed definition there are a few others that could be be beefed up. I’ll add a few more terms in another week or so.
